K. Riz Saldin, MD

Neurologist

Dr. Saldin graduated from medical school in Hungary and then pursed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Texas, School of Public Health. During his graduate work, he carried our research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Baylor College of Medicine and the Houston VA Hospital.

He began his internship at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida and completed his Neurology Chief Residency at Duke University. He learned to interpret MRI’s of the Brain and Spine at the Jacobs Neurological Institute in Buffalo, NY followed by an ACGME accredited fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the University of Virgina in Charlottesville.

Dr. Saldin employs his background in neurology, EMG/Neuroimaging and interventional skills to determine the origin of the pain complaint. Dr. Saldin even utilizes various pain mapping techniques to pinpoint the exact origin of the discomfort. Then identifies the most effective and least invasive treatment plan that will return a patient to normal functionality as quickly and simply as possible.

Dr. Saldin is one of only 200 physicians in the country to be board certified in both neurology and pain management.
