Jason Siegel, MD

Dr. Jason Siegel graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and then went on to complete neurology residency and Neurocritical care fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. 

He served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic as well as the Vice Chair of Research in the Critical Care Department. Dr. Siegel is triple board certified in neurology, brain injury medicine, and Neurocritical Care. He has authored over 30 peer reviewed publications as well as several book chapters. 

Dr. Siegel believes in a patient-centered approach to neurology. He says, "I realized that being a doctor is much more than being good at science and wanting to help people. For me the best parts about being a doctor are building relationships with patients and families, and even if I couldn’t cure them, working with them on the best medical decisions. I want to practice medicine the way that I think it should be practiced: with the patient at the core."
