Delani Mwathi is an Adult–Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across the adult lifespan. Originally from Michigan, Delani developed a lifelong appreciation for nature and wellness, often spending time hiking and camping in the forests of the Upper Peninsula near Lake Superior—an early foundation for her passion for healthy living and staying active.
Delani began her nursing career after graduating as a registered nurse in 2007. Over the years, she has gained extensive clinical experience across diverse acute-care settings as well as home hospice, where she developed a deep understanding of patient-centered, holistic care.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University in 2023, specializing as an Adult–Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. With a career rooted in neuroscience, Delani has spent much of her professional life working in neuro-focused environments, driven by a longstanding fascination with the complexity of the brain. Her clinical interests include neurological health, chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient education.
Outside of clinical practice, Delani enjoys staying active through exercise, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and—most recently—immersing herself in the world of video games. She brings the same curiosity, balance, and dedication to her personal pursuits as she does to her work, striving to help her patients achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives.
